All done, you mad world.

Today was a productive day.
After about a week of visiting places, meeting people, sampling food, cocktails, wine and more food, and watching food being sampled, listening to descriptions of food being sampled, it has almost come to an end, for now.
All my reviews were completed and submitted today, except for one more which I have to go to tomorrow.
Yes, today was a very productive day.

Finished work, went to meet Jun at the Tavern and it was great. I wish her working hours weren't the way they are so we could do this more often. The Tavern is really a good place to hang out.
AND I just discovered their inaugural British Night is this Wednesday.
Fish n Chips and yorkshire pudding I might give a miss, but the Beatles, Stones and Green Goblin ale? I'm SO there. And (almost) right in my neighbourhood!

More work for Junk magazine has come in - Peaches @ Zirca! yay.
Before there was Lady Gaga, there was Peaches. Bleeding on stage is not as new as one may believe.

I'm hoping they want me to review Tears for Fears but I shall go either way.
It's pretty soon.
Everything's happening so soon, it's a very very
Mad World.

Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy birthday, happy birthday
Made to feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen

Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher, tell me, what's my lesson?
Look right through me, look right through me

And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had

I find it hard to tell you
Because I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very
Mad world

Tears for Fears:
From 1981... (SO EIGHTIES! Love it)

Till 2010 (they are now distinguished gentlemen. but still cool as hell.)

  1. Powerful song! I love it! Have you ever watched Donnie Darko?

  2. One of the biggest movies of my life. Love the Gary Jules version too, but the original is awesome.
